from 240 reviewsI have allergies and moved next to a farm field two years ago, and in addition to recent forest fires and COVID spikes, things have been brutal on my respiratory system.
When I started looking for a new mask, I hadn't considered the off-gassing that a lot of products unfortunately have until I started reading some reviews that complained about it. I queried the web for a mask that doesn't, and these came up.
I was pleasantly surprised to see that not only are the materials tested and safe, the fit is absolutely superb. I'm a big guy with a beard (6' 240 lbs) and it's been next to impossible to find a mask that doesn't slip up my chin. The extra flap of material that goes under the chin is not only good for that, it's great for better seal integrity in general.
It's a super comfortable mask. If I had any constructive criticism, it would be to maybe take a look at a thinner material for the nose bridge wire, as the one used is really thick and causes my glasses to sit up off of my nose. But all told, I would still buy and will recommend these to anyone I know.
It takes a lot for me to write a review, but kudos to Unicorn. I wish them nothing but success.
I spend a couple of hours each weekday morning in a retail store that by its nature, is loaded with basically the same customers every day and they don't care if they are sick or not! I got Covid from there in February, and then another virus of some sort in March, and AGAIN the end of April. My immune system which works well normally, really took a beating. Clearly, I need a mask but don't want to inhale the chemicals in disposable paper masks and did not feel that standard cotton cloth masks were reliable enough. Research brought me to Unicorn and I can report after 4 days of use that I feel completely confident that the masks and filters are doing their job! Mask is comfortable, fits well, and it is easy to breathe. Very happy with my purchase!
Have used the past 4 days and can report that I feel more than confident for the couple of hours I wear my mask every weekday morning. Very easy to breath and no chemical odors. As a pleasant aside, I find that they also block the smell of strong wall mounted units that constantly spritz toxic air fresheners into the atmosphere! That right there tells me they are doing the job!
I love my mask! It is comfortable and I am pleased to have a product that is constructed of materials that are non-toxic.
A great alternative to the N95s. Wondeful service as well. I received my mask in a couple of days...just in time for a long trip to Bali.
The fit is vastly superior to the average mask. Great fit at the chin and bridge of the nose which also keeps the glasses from fogging. The replaceable filters are even better than regular hospital grade. Truly a great product.
The Unicorn masks are safe and effective, but that's not all. Unlike other safe and effective masks, they are environmentally soundly sourced and made. Additionally, they allow for easy speech with their chin covers. If you want more, they are not one and done. They are very comfortable to use over and over again.

This is my second order and I just really love these masks. I have a small face and have struggled to find a brand that fits correctly and protects me on long trips. I love these!
Mask is the perfect size and am able to breathe easily through the mask and filter. Happy it blocks particles down to 0.1 microns
I was skeptical at first, but I really love these masks. I'm immunocompromised and have a lot of health conditions (including with my lungs), as well as chemical sensitivities.. So I need a mask that really works to filter out small particles, and that's how I found these masks because they have been tested down to 0.1 microns, where most masks are only down to 0.3 microns. I love how the mask is made with the healthiest possible materials as well, especially because the lungs are so susceptible to toxins. The customer service is quick and responsive and they helped resolve an issue I had quickly.
The masks actually fit well and retain their shape, they seal well with the help of the nosepiece, and you're not breathing in the mask since it has structure. I'm Asian and don't have a bridge on my nose and the mask still sealed well--only thing is that I had to go up a size probably because of that. I've seen another mask brand say to size up in this style mask if you're Asian.. I went based off Unicorn's size chart and it was too small, so consider sizing up in this situation or really thinking through your sizing (especially given how expensive these masks are, and you only get a slight discount if you have to buy another size). Filters are light and easy to breathe through (the easiest to breathe through that I've found that actually has good protection). The chin fabric helps also to seal off any gaps at the bottom of the mask, and I actually wear it on my chin vs. under it, which means my mask doesn't shift when I talk and it's very comfortable. Overall, these masks are awesome, I love the company and what they stand for, and I don't plan on buying any other mask brands as long as Unicorn is in business.
This is a great quality mask that goes the extra step. Capturing microbes at .01 rather that .03 is a major benefit. Plus it is washable, reusable, has replaceable filters and is overall great for the environment. I am currently on my second set., and I am much happier with a high quality reusable mask rather than a collection of single use masks.
These are the most comfortable and most breathable reusable masks I have found. My sensory child does not wear the paper ones, as they are not soft enough; but these Unicorn masks do the trick! And their protective level is incredible!
